Fleet Management
Fleet Management gives businesses complete visibility over their vehicles, drivers, and operations — from a web browser or a Flutter app on Android and iOS. Track every vehicle live on a map, schedule maintenance before breakdowns happen, log fuel consumption, assign drivers to trips, and get alerts the moment something goes wrong. Built for logistics companies, courier services, transport agencies, and any business running a fleet.
What Fleet Management does
- Live GPS tracking for all vehicles on an interactive map
- Driver assignment, trip logging, and route history
- Maintenance scheduling with automated service reminders
- Fuel log with consumption reports and cost tracking
- Overspeed and route deviation alerts via push notification
- Trip summary reports — distance, duration, stops, idling time
- Multi-vehicle dashboard with status and health indicators
- Mobile app for drivers — trip start/end, fuel entries, reports
How Fleet Management works
Fleet Management has three parts: a small GPS device in each vehicle, a web dashboard for the office, and a mobile app for drivers. The device reports location every few seconds; the dashboard turns that into live positions, trips, alerts, and reports; the driver app adds the human side, such as who is driving and how much fuel went in.
Fit a GPS tracker in each vehicle
A plug-in OBD tracker or a wired unit, installed in about 20 minutes per vehicle. It sends position, speed, ignition state, and heading over the mobile network. We supply and configure the devices, or you can bring compatible ones you already own.
Add vehicles, drivers, and documents
Enter each vehicle's registration, model, and odometer, and attach its insurance, fitness, and PUC with expiry dates. Add drivers with licence details. Assign a driver to a vehicle by default, or per trip.
Watch the fleet live on the map
Every vehicle appears on one map with its status: moving, idle, or off. Click a pin for speed, heading, current driver, and today's trips. Filter by status or search by plate or driver. Draw geofences around depots, hubs, or customer sites.
Trips, alerts, and driver check-ins
Trips are recorded automatically from ignition on to ignition off, with distance, duration, stops, and idle time. Alerts fire on overspeed, route deviation, harsh braking, long idling, or leaving a geofence, and reach the manager as a push notification. Drivers use the mobile app to start and end trips, log fuel fills with a photo of the receipt, and report issues.
Maintenance before breakdowns
Set a service interval per vehicle in kilometres or days. The dashboard counts down from the live odometer and reminds you before service is due. Log each service with cost and parts, so the full history travels with the vehicle.
Reports every month, or on demand
Distance per vehicle, fuel cost per kilometre, driver behaviour scores, utilisation, and document expiries. Export to Excel or PDF, or get a monthly summary by email.
What you need to start
- One GPS tracker per vehicle (we supply, or compatible existing units)
- A SIM with a data plan in each tracker, or our bundled connectivity
- A list of vehicles and drivers to load on day one
- Android or iOS phones for drivers who will use the app
Time to go live
Typically 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how many vehicles need a tracker fitted.
