GST invoice generator

Create a clean GST invoice with item-wise tax and the CGST/SGST or IGST split, then print it or save it as a PDF. Everything stays in your browser.

Your business (seller)
Bill to (buyer)
Items

In the print dialog choose "Save as PDF". Nothing leaves your browser.

How to use it

  1. Enter your business details and the customer's. GSTIN is optional for unregistered buyers.

  2. Add items with HSN or SAC code, quantity, rate and GST rate. Totals update as you type.

  3. Click Print and choose 'Save as PDF' in the dialog. The form is hidden and only the invoice prints.

What a GST invoice must contain

Your name, address and GSTIN; a unique serial number and date; the buyer's name and GSTIN if registered; HSN or SAC per item; taxable value; the tax rate and amount split as CGST/SGST or IGST; the total; and your signature or a digital one. This generator covers everything except the signature, which you add on the printout.

Invoice numbering

Numbers must be unique and consecutive within a financial year, up to 16 characters. INV-2026-001 style works. Do not reuse or skip numbers.

When you need an e-invoice instead

Businesses with turnover above ₹5 crore must generate e-invoices through the GST portal with an IRN and QR code. This tool is for everyone below that threshold.

Common questions

Is the invoice generated here valid?

It contains all the fields a GST invoice needs. Add your signature after printing. For turnover above ₹5 crore, e-invoicing is required instead.

Where is my data stored?

Nowhere. It exists only on your screen until you close the page. Save the PDF.

Can I add my logo?

Not in the free tool. A billing system built for you would have your logo, saved customers, and WhatsApp delivery.

Why does the PDF show the form?

Use your browser's Print button or the button here, not a screenshot. The form is hidden in print.
